WHY I STARTED
PROJECT TWENTY-TWO.
“For years, I believed serving others meant wearing a uniform. First in the military, then as a paramedic. Those experiences taught me courage, sacrifice, and compassion—but they also showed me how many veterans continue fighting battles long after they come home.
I’ve walked through some of those battles myself. There were times when I struggled with suicidal thoughts and wondered if anyone truly understood what I was carrying. That experience changed me. It also gave me a deep connection to veterans who feel isolated and to families whose lives are forever changed by suicide.
This organization isn’t about me. It’s about making sure no veteran or family has to face these struggles alone.”

Project Twenty-Two Foundation is preparing to apply for recognition as a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization. The Foundation is not currently recognized by the IRS as tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3), and contributions are not currently tax-deductible.
